*Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the Indian War Memorial at Villers Guislain in France and paid tribute to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during World War I.

*Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Maldives to attend the swearing-in of President-elect Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on November 17.

*Union Cabinet has approved signing and ratifying the Extradition Agreement between India and Morocco, the Agreement will provide a legal base for the extradition of fugitive offenders accused of economic offences, terrorism and other serious offences.

*The Union Cabinet has given in-principle approval for sale of enemy shares under the custody of Ministry of Home Affairs/Custodian of Enemy Property of India (CEPI).

*The Union Cabinet approves Amendment to the Central Universities Act, 2009 for setting up of Central Tribal University in Andhra Pradesh.

*The Cabinet has given in-principle approval for operation, management and development of Jaipur, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and Mangaluru airports on PPP (Public private partnership) model.

*Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has approved strategic disinvestment of 100% Govt. of India’s equity in the Dredging Corporation of India Ltd.

*Robyn Denholm has been appointed as Tesla's Board Chair, effective immediately. She replaces Elon Musk.

*Ayodhya Deepostav 2018 enters Guinness Book of Record for lighting 3,01,152 earthen lamps, on the bank of River Sarayu.

*Neena Kumar( IRS 1982), Akhilesh Ranjan(IRS 1982) and Prasana Kumar Dash(IRS 1982) appointed as members of the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
