Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: State Cabinet approves farmers loan waiver scheme. Loans of Rs. 2 lakhs taken by farmers will be waived off. Cut-off date has been set as 12 December 2018.

National Green Tribunal today imposed fine of Rs 100 cr on Meghalaya govt for failing to curb Illegal coal mining. NGT said the fine amount can be recovered from illegal miners & responsible officials & it has to be deposited in Central pollution control board within 2 months.
